Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates:
Following close examination on information listed by the NHS, Care inspectorate and government bodies, we are currently operating as usual however we will notify if there are any further changes.
The safety and wellbeing of the children and staff is our upmost priority, therefore if your child is feeling different to usual or has any symptoms related to a common cold and coronavirus then we kindly ask for you to not to bring your child in. This is essential as being in the ‘delay phase’, the country and ourselves wish to limit the spread vastly, which as you can appreciate can be done by taking measures like so. If your child feels subsequently unwell in nursery then we will notify parents of this and we appreciate if you could pick up your child as soon as possible.
From today onwards, prior to ringing the doorbell there is hand sanitizer that we strongly recommend for you to use. Staff will then pick up and drop off children from the front entrance of the nursery where feedback will be given here. At nursery children will be encouraged to wash hands constantly, when coming in/prior to and after eating/ upon return from the garden. Please be rest assured that all our hygiene standards are increased and that all surfaces/door handles are cleaned regularly.
We will continue to review and adopt any strategies in line with new and recent developments, and will keep everyone up to date with any further information.
As always, please contact us with any queries or hesitations you may have.
